The in-demand singer recently released her fifth studio album, Loud, to commercial and critical acclaim. Fresh from her celebrated recent performances at the Grammy Awards, the BRIT Awards in the UK and the NBA All-Star game over the weekend, the 23-year-old has revealed her plans for a tour which will also feature a special guest.
"Cee Lo is coming on the road with me which is really, really exciting. Having him on tour with me will be amazing. It's gonna be even bigger than my last tour, which I didn't think it could get any better. I told Cee Lo he has to bring the Muppets and Gwyneth Paltrow,” she told Extra.
The star also commented on the recent controversy surrounding her latest single release, S&M. The music video has been criticised for its overtly sexual themes and has been banned in many countries in South Asia. However, Rihanna believes the furore has had a positive effect on the video’s reception.
"I think the ban worked out. I don't think people would've been that curious if there wasn't some controversy involved or connected to it. S&M is my favourite video that I've ever, ever, ever done. I can't wait to keep making more incredible videos and beatin' them out every time. S&M is gonna be a hard one to beat."
