Casting Update: New Female Captain Will Be Older

Originally, Castle producers were looking for a female captain replacement in her “early 40s,” but according to Spoiler TV, the role now calls for a female in her “late 40s/early 50s.” Yup, the ideal captain is apparently now 10 years older!

We don’t know why the change came about, but we do think it’s interesting since the new captain is supposedly super flirty. Have we entered cougar territory?

Hey, Castle fans — I'm Jager Weatherby from Wetpaint Entertainment. So, the Castle Season 3 finale aired a month ago, which is like 25 years ago in TV time. And though we're still a ways away, we're already itching to know what will happen in Season 4! Will Beckett recover after taking a bullet? At least recover from the neck up so she can and Castle can talk about the "I love you" he dropped on her? Will they get someone to replace the late Captain Montgomery? So many questions, so little time. Luckily, Castle creator Andrew Marlowe was nice enough to give us a few teasers about next season. And they're just that — a tease. But we love 'em anyways!

Justin Bieber Does Top 10 Little Known Facts About Himself on 'Late Show' (VIDEO)

Justin Bieber dropped by the Ed Sullivan theater to help withDavid Letterman's Top 10 list on 'Late Show' (Weeknights, 11:35PM ET on CBS), considering it was all about him. The topic was Top 10 Little Kown Facts about Justin Bieber, and the Bieb clearly had a blast pokin fun at his image.

We particularly loved the little turn of the head and smile he gave after delivering #7 on the list: "As hard as I've tried, I don't know how to not be adorable."

#5 had a great sight gag as well. After Bieber said, "I'm not really a big fan of Kevin James," the camera cut to James in the green room and he did a great sad sack expression.

Other highlights on the list included Bieber revealing he was Green Lantern, though Letterman was Larry King and at the top of the list: "It's a hairpiece."
