(Getty Images)more pics »Called it! Justin Bieber made a highly anticipated, but totally predictable, appearance at Canada's MuchMusic Video Awards tonight. And, of course, the Canadian pop star joined his galSelena Gomez, who was host for the evening, on the stage.
Justin and Drake won the Best International Video of the Year award, and, after some shuffling, the Bieb stood next to his girlfriend on live TV!
The two looked like they were going to go in for a kiss, but they fooled everyone by simply shaking hands! Justin took the mic and said: "Selena, nice to meet you, I'm Justin. You're very beautiful, maybe we can go out sometime." The crowd actually let out a collective sigh, which could've been disappointment or relief. Hard to tell.
These two were a big story from the show, and so was Lady Gaga. She performed her new single "Edge of Glory" in a green wig on the stage made to look New York City then she closed the show with "Born This Way." Her last performance was quite epic: She was "born" out of a cocoon and apparently rocked a green wig AND green armpit hair! So that's what Lady Gaga thought of next...
