Selena has been working nonstop but it finally paid off — the Disney star’s new single went platinum and we’re thrilled for her!
Selena Gomez definitely has something to smile about! The 18-year-old superstar was headed to Atlanta to see her beau Justin Bieber when she learned that her single Who Says has gone platinum — woo hoo!
“Ahhhh yay! Yay! Yay! Who Says went platinum!!! Thank you!!” she tweeted June 15. “YOU have every right to a beautiful life :)”
Selena revealed at one point the meaning behind Who Says and it makes us love her that much more!
“Twitter and Facebook are really negative for me … within that world is such easy access to people’s feelings,” she has said. “You can get a thousand wonderful comments but just one will throw you off and that’s how it is with me. Basically it’s to the haters—the people trying to bring you down.”
Now that Selena is feeling better since being hospitalized for malnourishment — she’s gearing up for the MuchMusic Video Award in Toronto June 19!
This girl really does have it all and she deserves it!
Selena Gomez Is Carrying A Baby… Don’t Worry It’s Not Hers!
The rumor mill was swirling about a possible pregnancy after Selena was hospitalized last week with nausea and headaches. But there’s no Bieber baby on the way. Selena’s just being fan-friendly!
Eighteen-year-old Selena Gomez will not be joining the cast of Teen Mom – and neither will her 17-year-old boyfriend Justin Bieber. But we must say, Selena does look like a natural when it comes to caring for a baby!
Selena was rushed to the hospital after her appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Lenolast Thursday, June 9, complaining of nausea and headaches, which turned out to be associated with “blood pressure issues.”
“I was just very malnourished,” Selena told reporters of her hospitalization. “I was low on iron and exhausted.”
But the problem had nothing to do with her not eating — she’s just eating too much junk food! “I do eat,” she said on Kidd Kraddick’s radio show in Texas June 15. “The problem is I don’t eat right. I love everything that’s possibly not good for me.”
We hope Selena is back on her feet, which looks to be the case considering she trucked around with a fan’s baby, Ryder, on June 15! Too cute!

Is Joe Jonas Apologizing To Demi Lovato In His New Song, ‘I’m Sorry’?
Joe Jonas says his new song, “I’m Sorry,” is about one of his relationships. Is he finally apologizing to Demi Lovato, or is it an ode to one of his other celebrity girlfriends?
We all know Joe Jonas isn’t exactly going to win the “Best Boyfriend” award. From Taylor Swift toAshley Greene, Joe has famously fallen out of love just as quickly as he falls in. The notorious play boy says he’s about to apologize to one of his sweethearts in his new song, “I’m Sorry” — but will it be about the one girl he hurt the most?
“‘I’m Sorry’ is really honest,” Joe, 21, told E! Online’s Marc Malkin June 16. “It’s saying, I screwed up. I didn’t cheat on the person, but just I messed up and I wanted the person back. I’m just putting it all on the table saying, ‘I’m sorry. I wish I could have you back.’”
Joe dramatically dumped his girlfriend, former best friend and co-star, Demi Lovato, last year, only to join her on tour months later and bring along his new girlfriend, Ashley Greene. Demi, 18, subsequently, suffered from a breakdown, quit the tour and shipped off to treatment in Chicago for “emotional and physical issues.” Although Joe didn’t technically do anything wrong, it’s widely presumed he played some role in Demi’s problems.
“Those kind of songs are really hard because you know that person is going to hear it,” he said. “[But] I’ve never really reached out to somebody about a song. I feel every artist is entitled to write honestly. So I’ve never reached out to them unless they reached out to me.”
Out of all the girls he’s dated, I think Joe owes Demi an apology most. She was more than just a random girl he dated — she was a family friend, a co-worker and most importantly, she considered him one of her best friends. Even if he didn’t actually cheat on her with Ashley, he disrespected her by flaunting his new girlfriend in Demi’s face while they were on tour. It was insensitive and rude!
Hopefully we’ll hear “I’m Sorry” soon — but regardless, it will be on Joe’s first solo album, which is set to drop Sept. 6. Are YOU excited to hear it?
